The vision of art in Forskaren strives to create in-depth encounters between science, art and society in order to ask questions, shift perspectives and expand the space for free thought through artistic expression and processes.
Livsåren is a large-scale interactive light installation in which visitors and their movements are reflected through the interplay of light. This creates an ever-evolving organism that constantly morphs in shape and movement. Like nature’s tendency to form complex, efficient networks for the flow of vital elements, the artwork imitates the dynamic rhythm and interconnectedness of people and activities within the building.
